Play It Live doesn’t hear my guitar

• Check that Fretboard King has microphone access in your phone’s settings. If you declined it once, the app stays in tap mode until you allow it there.
• Tune up first with the built-in tuner. A note that’s far out of tune can be heard as its neighbour.
• Play one clean note and let it ring. Muting the other strings helps, and so does a quieter room.
• Play It Live is in beta. If a particular note keeps failing, email me which string and fret and I’ll look into it.

My progress disappeared

Your scores and statistics are stored only on your phone, with no account. Deleting the app, or moving to a new phone without restoring a backup, starts you from zero.

Ads

The app shows an occasional ad between practice rounds, never in the middle of one, and never in the Learn course.

Requesting a feature

Many features in the app started as emails from players. Email it using the button above, or use the feedback option inside the app.
